Walking by the La Perla window in Meatpacking Saturday, I noticed this gorgeous corset. I love the silk ribbons that go down the front.

I know GOOP has its nay-sayers and I don't love every section but I've mentioned before my love of the recipes section (Make). Today, I discovered a new love. The Do section. Gwyneth's (and Madonna's) trainer has provided two workouts so far. Today, a Cardio Dance Routine and around New Years- not sure how I missed it?- a butt/leg workout. I did both today and let me tell you ... the leg/butt workout... OW! But in a totally good way.

Looking Back: Regret

I am still so sad that I can't find this cozy plaid shirt dress Michelle is sporting here. Has anyone out there found it? I am still searching... I found a close 2nd today at Scoop of all places. It was a Rag & Bone version- totally different but would serve the purpose.

Looking Back: Favorite Purchase

Over the past year, I've made several purchases but my favorite purchase by far were the CL Booties!

Gorgeous and they go with everything- I really wore them every weekend for most of the winter. I didn't regret the purchase for a second either. Always a good sign.

Looking Back: Gwyneth

I'm sure by now my readers have picked up on the fact that I love Gwyneth Paltrow.  I love her style and how she carries herself in the press (or stays out the press) and almost always, her choice in movies.

Over the last year, I've mentioned her at least 20 times.  You can see nearly all my Gwyneth posts here.  I'm sure she will continue to be a feature on Look Book next year as well.

Looking Back: Chanel

As I was going through old posts, something stood out immediately.
1) I love Chanel and it comes up often.
2) I still love every Chanel item I lusted over during the year.

I actually went into Chanel yesterday hunting down a bag I saw a woman on the street carrying. Alas, it is from one or two years ago (not seasons, years!) and so I was saved from buying said bag. I would have done it for this bag and I'd finally have my Chanel... But another one will come along. And next time I see one I love, I'm doing it. This is the bag I saw... Tear. Called the Expandable Flap Bag.

Julia Roberts is gorgeous. I saw Duplicity yesterday, it was good- lots of twists. I love how this Dries Van Noten jacket is cinched at her natural waist. It's a perfect look.
